Marian Rose
More than twenty years a professional dancer, choreographer and teacher — on stage long before she was ever in a treatment room.
Marian has worked with some of Australia's leading choreographers: on Norwegian and P&O cruise lines, the Sydney Showboat and casino shows here and in Nouméa. She has performed as a support dancer for Christine Anu, Marcia Hines, Katie Underwood and Caroline O'Connor, and as a backup vocalist for Kylie Minogue at the Paralympics Opening Ceremony.
She choreographed Delta Goodrem's What Kind of Girl launch, was resident choreographer for Show Off Productions in Wollongong, and went on to own and direct Move Performing Arts. She has taught in studios, in secondary schools and at HSC level.
Alongside the dancing she works as a yoga and barre instructor, holistic coach and bodyworker — Reiki, Kahuna, Lomi Lomi Heart work and Polynesian floor work. She is currently completing a Graduate Diploma in Somatic Movement and Dance Therapy.

I kept hearing people say they were looking for a dance class. My study reminded me just how much dance gives back — physically, emotionally, mentally — and I wanted to offer that again.
It's fun. It's community. There's no better way to spend an evening than moving together and having a laugh.
