True luxury is found within

The dancing
came first.

Two decades on stage, and then years in the treatment room — learning what a body carries, and how it lets go. Soul Deluxe has always been both halves of the same practice.

These classes are where they meet.

Dance Class

Return to rhythm.

Adults jazz, and genuinely fun. Choreography anyone can follow, a playlist worth showing up for, and enough of a sweat to feel like you've done something.

We build on the same routine week by week, so what feels unfamiliar in week one is yours by the end. Beginners and experienced dancers in the same room — that's the point.

Somatic Movement

Embodied.

A moving meditation. Somatic exercise to settle the nervous system, then guided, experiential movement — less about how it looks, entirely about what it tells you.

We close with journalling, so what surfaced in the body has somewhere to go. You'll leave knowing something you didn't walk in with.

Your first Tuesday

Nothing to prepare.

If you're nervous, you're in good company — most people in the room will be too, and it lasts about ten minutes.

01

What to wear

Comfortable clothes you can move in. Workout gear is perfect. Light sneakers — something you can pivot in safely.

02

What to bring

A water bottle, and that's genuinely it. Everything else is provided, and you don't need to know a single step before you arrive.

03

How it runs

An easy warm-up to get every part of you moving, simple stretches, then choreography we build on together. We close with mindful stretching and breath.

Marian Rose

Your teacher

Marian Rose

More than twenty years a professional dancer, choreographer and teacher — on stage long before she was ever in a treatment room.

Marian has worked with some of Australia's leading choreographers: on Norwegian and P&O cruise lines, the Sydney Showboat and casino shows here and in Nouméa. She has performed as a support dancer for Christine Anu, Marcia Hines, Katie Underwood and Caroline O'Connor, and as a backup vocalist for Kylie Minogue at the Paralympics Opening Ceremony.

She choreographed Delta Goodrem's What Kind of Girl launch, was resident choreographer for Show Off Productions in Wollongong, and went on to own and direct Move Performing Arts. She has taught in studios, in secondary schools and at HSC level.

Alongside the dancing she works as a yoga and barre instructor, holistic coach and bodyworker — Reiki, Kahuna, Lomi Lomi Heart work and Polynesian floor work. She is currently completing a Graduate Diploma in Somatic Movement and Dance Therapy.

I kept hearing people say they were looking for a dance class. My study reminded me just how much dance gives back — physically, emotionally, mentally — and I wanted to offer that again.

It's fun. It's community. There's no better way to spend an evening than moving together and having a laugh.

The practice continues

Everything else is still here.

The treatment room hasn't gone anywhere. Bodywork, day retreats and holistic coaching continue alongside the classes — and for many people, one leads naturally to the other.
